These bowls are glazed on the inside only, and the 'Squid' colorway has a swirl of black. Since each bowl is hand marbled one by one, the exact pattern and amount of black will vary from piece to piece. This bowl is made from a tan clay body with yellowish, warm undertones. It is a smooth clay with no grog (sandy particles).
